The Legacy
Furzig, a distinguished racehorse owned by our close friends Peter and SJ, epitomises British horse racing. Racing began as a focus for Peter's father, Ivan, during an illness. Their first horse, Princess Cocoa, brought joy and hope. Furzig, Cocoa's foal, was nearly sold but quickly proved his potential. Named after Danzig and Ivan's middle name, Furzig excelled, winning his third race and securing his trainer Richard Fahey’s 200th win that year. With 11 wins, Furzig competes at the highest level across the UK.
